This technology has improved dramatically due to the size reduction of the Photovoltaic collector's better technology and the cost of the low cycle batteries. There is no reason why anyone could not power all lights with a small initial investment to reduce power consumption.  If you decide on a complete changeover, the long-lasting LED globe is the most efficient lighting system available on the market, this will reduce the size of your solar collector and battery even further. Please do not be discouraged by the price of each individual LED light. Your lighting technician will be able to give you an accurate quote. Usually, 5w LED replaces the 60w incandescent light globe and provides the same brightness.
