M15 - Lights Off At Night

Implementation of this symbol means that the business/company is switching off all their business lights at night when not required. (This symbol does not apply to businesses, which operate 24 hours.) Save $ 4,704.50

Using a mechanical or an electronic timer in the main switchboard or through an intelligent system to control and switch off lighting can save great amounts of power. Safety lighting for emergency exits and corridors is generally powered by a separate power circuit for when there is a power failure, this circuit becomes active again and supplies power to the emergency lighting via an on-site generator or designated batteries. Driveways and other outdoor lighting that are controlled by a timer also fall under this implementation. This implementation applies to all switching options. All lighting must be of energy-saving origin. Check with your electrician for advice in order to achieve maximum energy savings.
