Rotating staff on home/office working arrangements has shown to offer the same (if not higher) productivity levels and is often far more convenient for everyone. Environmental benefits arise from the cutting of travel costs and pollution generated by travel. With today’s communication technology, this working model is easily achievable. Socially it is not the best solution some say, perhaps working from home entices people to spend other quality time with people of interest and sharing similarities of interest with a few lesser people but with far greater quality and efficiency of free time spent, to grow intellectually and for a greater purpose in life.
