A scroll fan, fitted above the main door has the function to prevent loss of heated or cooled air in air-conditioned premises and is mainly installed where there is heavy people traffic. The correct installation is crucial in order to maximize efficiency, the air curtain must overreach the doorframe by at least 50 to 100 mm to avoid wastage of energy. It is also necessary to achieve a correct downwards airflow, adjustable by louvers. Your air-conditioning specialist will be able to advise you and help maximize savings with professional installation. Regular maintenance of the air curtain is required to optimize its functioning and maximize the longevity of the air curtain fan. Most importantly here, is regular cleaning of the air filter, which is generally located under the Air return grill.
